Online Application Process


Register on TN eSevai Portal

Visit the TN eSevai Portal

click on the citizen login.

 If you are a new user, click on "New User" and fill in the registration form with your details.


 You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number to complete the registration.


Apply for Community Certificate:


Log in to the eSevai portal using your credentials.





Navigate to the "Revenue Department" section and select "REV-101 Community Certificate".



You will get the instructions for applying community certificate:



Register for CAN number.


If you dont have a CAN number click on register CAN button and get your CAN  number like below.




while submitting you will receice a OTP to verify. once you enter the OTP, you will receive a CAN number that can be used to obtain commmunity certificate.

if you already have a can number 

Enter your CAN number to retrieve your details.

Complete the application form with additional information about your family and community.

Upload the necessary documents, such as proof of address, age, and parent's caste certificate.

Make the required payment of INR 60 and submit your application.






Track Application:


To check the status of your application, log in to the eSevai portal and enter your application number.

Download Community Certificate in Tamil Nadu

Log in to the TN eSevai portal.

Click on "Check Status".

Enter your Application Number and click on "Search".

Click on the "Download Certificate" link.


Offline Application Process

Visit eSevai Centre:
