Ushas mudra
Ushas mudra is a powerful mudra to energize and awaken creativity. practising this mudra in the morning gives freshness and energies to the body and mind. This mudra awakens and activates the second chakra in the body that is the centre of sexuality.
Mudra is a unique and one of the best techniques that can be used to attain any health benefit by continuous and regular practice.
Mudras are hand gestures that balance the five elements called the panchabooth (fire, earth, water, air, and space) in our body. Mudras help in balancing the three doshas in the body called the vatha, pitta, and the Kapha doshas.
How to perform this mudra:
step 1: sit in a comfortable position with your back straight.
step 2: bring your hands in front of the chest and clasp them by interlocking your fingers.
step 3: the procedure is different for men and women.
men: the right thumb should be placed on the left thumb.
women: the left thumb should be placed on the right thumb.
gently apply pressure.
step 4: this mudra can be held near the chest or the abdomen.
