Mudras are hand gestures that balance the five elements called the panchabooth (fire, earth, water, air, and space) in our body. Mudras help in balancing the three doshas in the body called the vatha, pittha, and the Kapha doshas.
How to perform this mudra:
step 1: sit in a comfortable position with your back straight.
step 2: bring both the hands in front of the chest.
step 3: touch the ring fingers and little fingers of both the hands with a little gap between them.
step 4: fold the thumb to the center of the palm.
step 5: fold the remaining fingers over the thumb gently.
step 6: focus and deep breath with slower exhalation.

when and how long should the mudras be performed:
caution : over doing of this mudra could leave you lazy and lethargic.
These mudras can be performed at any point of time in a day. one has to start by holding this mudra for 5 minutes and can be stretched up to 20 minutes a day.
